It's been seventeen days since the appearance of the inter-dimensional anomaly they call Milliways.
Hill has utilized that time to write up a personal file of information she gathered while there.
She hasn't yielded enough results from her research to be worth the time.
Sighing, she leans back in her chair and stares blankly at the open document on her screen.

Timeline: Agent Maria Hill enters Milliways at roughly the same period in canon as her SHIELD associates (Director Nick Fury, Agent Natasha Romanoff, Agent Phil Coulson, and Agent Clint Barton). This puts her pre-events related to Avengers, and post-events related to Fury's Big Week (The Incredible Hulk (2008), Thor, and the one-shot The Consultant (2011) [here]). Captain America has not yet been found on ice or brought back to New York.
Agent Hill will move through canonical events with her SHIELD canon mates, though minor variations in how they match up with the timeline are very likely to occur.
Characterization: Maria Hill is coming in from the MCU, though comics canon will be utilized to flesh out personality and back story where it does not conflict with MCU canon. Obviously this Maria Hill is working with Fury rather than against (for now); her status is agent, second in command (or right-hand man, if you will) to Director Fury himself. She comes from Chicago, and has a military background. She's headstrong, snarky, incredibly driven, does not trust the Avengers initiative, and has a very specific skill set. Chances are good she can take you down, physically, politically, or otherwise. Her clearance level is above your pay grade, sorry. Her working relationship with Agent Coulson is incredibly professional, except when it's not. She takes the utmost pride and responsibility in her team.
If you interest her, chances are good she will check you out. If you threaten her, chances are good she will shoot you. Don't worry, she won't aim for any major arteries. Of course, as far as multiple universes and the three rules of Milliways goes, she won't ever cross the line without express mun-to-mun permission.
How To Tag: Anyone and everyone is welcome to tag Hill at any time! Really. If you're part of the Marvel universe and want to run questions or concerns by me, this is the place to do it (also available is a contact post, my e-mail for those who have it, DM, and AIM). I'm very easy and flexible when it comes to working out timelines, shared universes, and the like. No toes will be stepped on!
A few important things to keep in mind are simply not to canon puncture her, and not to detail future events she hasn't gotten to yet.
